About the role
You will assist the Refuge Manager in the day-to-day running of the refuge, providing support, advice and guidance to women and their children.
Key responsibilities
- Help manage refuge properties, including leases and maintenance work.
- Assist with social, recreational and educational activities.
- Provide administrative support with tenancy agreements and rent collection.
- Work with social services, welfare-rights organisations and other agencies to support tenants.
What we’re looking for
- Good English and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and maintain confidentiality.
- Awareness of domestic abuse and NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care are desirable.
