To support the ICT Engineer in delivering day-to-day IT operations across Contento Social Homes and Queensway Homes Ltd, ensuring timely support, device management, and the smooth running of digital systems.
- Provide overall IT support for the organisation, helping to ensure smooth operations across all departments.
- Support field service operations by preparing new equipment, overseeing repairs, replenishing ink cartridges and assisting with routine ICT requirements.
- Report to and remain accountable to the ICT Engineer.
First-Line IT Support
- Handle basic staff IT issues, including password resets, login issues and email setup.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
- Assist with OneDrive and SharePoint access issues.
- Log and track support requests and escalate complex issues to the ICT Engineer.
Device Setup and Maintenance
- Prepare laptops and mobile phones for new staff, including setup and configuration.
- Install required software and applications.
- Perform basic hardware checks, including charging, screen and connectivity issues.
- Replace accessories such as chargers, cables and screen protectors.
- Assist with device upgrades and replacements.
User Onboarding and Offboarding
- Create and set up user accounts, including emails and system access.
- Configure devices for new starters.
- Collect and reset devices for leavers.
- Ensure accounts are securely disabled when staff leave.
Mobile Device Support
- Assist with mobile phone setup and configuration.
- Support data transfer between devices, including contacts and apps.
- Monitor and report connectivity or usage issues.
- Help with app installation and troubleshooting.
Asset and Inventory Management
- Maintain records of all devices, including laptops, phones and tablets.
- Track allocation of devices to staff.
- Monitor stock of ICT equipment and report shortages.
- Label and organise ICT equipment.
Basic Network and Property Support
- Assist with reporting internet issues at properties.
- Help coordinate with service providers by logging faults.
- Support simple troubleshooting, including router checks and connectivity tests.
- Assist in tracking open cases until resolved.
Routine Maintenance Tasks
- Perform regular system checks, including updates and antivirus status.
- Ensure devices are compliant with security policies.
- Assist with backups and basic data checks.
- Support printer and office equipment troubleshooting.
Documentation and Admin Support
- Update ICT records and documentation.
- Maintain user guides and simple instructions for staff.
- Assist in preparing reports and tracking logs.
- Support compliance documentation where required.
Event and Training Support
- Assist in setting up IT equipment for meetings and events.
- Provide basic technical support during events.
- Support delivery of basic IT training sessions.
General Support
- Assist the ICT Engineer with day-to-day operational tasks.
- Take ownership of simple repetitive tasks to reduce workload.
- Provide quick responses to routine issues to improve service speed.
Essential:
- Computer literacy, including file management, word processing, spreadsheets, databases and email.
- Good command of the English language, with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Professional telephone manner and ability to respond to queries and initiate contact.
- Well organised, able to manage workload and prioritise activities.

To plan, coordinate, and deliver survivor-focused events that promote engagement, wellbeing, and participation. The postholder will be responsible for venue booking, liaising with support workers, encouraging survivor attendance, maintaining accurate records, collecting feedback, and producing post-event reports in line with organisational objectives.
- Plan and organise events in accordance with agreed objectives and timelines.
- Identify and book suitable venues, ensuring accessibility, confidentiality, and compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Liaise with support workers to coordinate attendance and ensure appropriate support arrangements are in place.
- Conduct authorised visits, where appropriate, to encourage survivors to attend events and provide clear information about participation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate attendance registers for all events.
- Draft and distribute feedback forms and support survivors to complete them where required.
- Collect, review, and securely store feedback in line with data protection requirements.
- Produce a structured report following each event, including attendance figures, feedback summary, observations, and recommendations.
- Submit reports to the Manager within agreed deadlines.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners where required.
Essential:
- Experience in organising events or community-based activities.
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals or survivor groups.

To provide comprehensive and confidential support to tenants, helping them sustain their tenancy and ensuring access to appropriate housing-related services in line with the organisation's objectives.
- Provide direct support to tenants to help them sustain their tenancy and access opportunities such as leisure, education, and training.
- Respond to accommodation enquiries and assist with tenant onboarding processes.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks, including tenant room checks and liaise with landlords for repairs and maintenance.
- Support tenants in understanding tenancy conditions, including rent liability and addressing anti-social behaviour.
- Manage utilities and negotiate better rates where applicable.
- Organise and attend tenant feedback and community events.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to ensure tenant needs are met effectively.

To assist the Refuge Manager in the day-to-day running of the refuge, providing frontline support, advice, and guidance to women and their children.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of refuge properties, including organising leases and maintenance work.
- Assist in organising social, recreational, and educational activities within the community.
- Provide administrative support, including the management of tenancy agreements and rent collection.
- Collaborate with social services, welfare rights groups, and other agencies to support tenants’ needs.
Essential: Proficiency in English, organisational skills, ability to work unsupervised.
Desirable: Awareness of domestic violence, NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or a willingness to undertake relevant training.
